ASPA - Automotive Service Providers Academy - is born out of a crying need for independent workshops in the mobility space to move beyond basic training and embrace a more comprehensive knowledge-driven approach.

ASPA is the brainchild of Mr. Vikrantt Mohan, our Founder & CEO, whose vision and commitment have laid the foundation for this initiative.

The focus of ASPA is to empower automotive and mobility workshops by strengthening their management systems, aligned with both current realities and future trends in the industry. It is a knowledge movement, and the clear plan is to expand its reach beyond Indian geographies, building a global platform for service excellence.

Vikrantt Mohan

Founder & CEO, ASPA

Vikrantt Mohan is the Founder of the Automotive Service Providers Academy (ASPA), an initiative dedicated to professionalizing India's independent automotive workshop sector.

He entered the automobile business in 1982, at age 17, working at his family's vehicle lubrication facility in Hyderabad. Over four decades, he built deep, ground-level expertise in workshop operations, customer service, and business development - experience that shaped ASPA's mission: giving independent workshops the structured management practices, professional processes, and industry relationships they need to grow. ASPA trains service providers on workshop management, documentation, customer communication, digital adoption, and revenue growth, while connecting them with OEMs, parts manufacturers, and technology providers.

Vikrantt is also Founder & National President of the All India Automobile Workshops Association (AIAWA), a network spanning 112 locations across India. He was inducted into the WAF Global Hall of Fame in December 2022 for his contributions to India's independent workshop ecosystem.

ASPA's Founder was inducted into the WAF Global Hall of Fame in December 2022.
